The Bulldogs and Roosters are set to fight out a duel for Penrith’s Kangaroo winger Josh Mansour.

Mansour comes off contract at the end of next season and I’m hearing he wants out of the Panthers.

He is one of several senior Penrith players who isn’t a fan of conservative coach Anthony Griffin.

Mansour was also close to former skipper Matt Moylan, who was shipped off to Cronulla after Panthers boss Phil Gould gave assurances that he would be staying at the club.

The Panthers are unlikely to be able to match the type of big money the Roosters and Bulldogs will be willing to throw at Mansour.

Mansour is one of the hardest wingers in the game to stop close to the tryline and his bulk and power make him virtually an extra forward when the going gets tough.

Those attributes will ensure he receives bigger money than most wingers when he is a free agent at the end of next year.

I googled Josh Mansour & found the article. It's by some blogger called The Lurker. It looks like gossip-mongering crap to me.

The Lurker is a gossip columnist, but credit where it is due - he did break the Moylan/Maloney swap deal story.

If he goes to the Bulldogs he will be doing a lot more work in the middle to cover that bludger Woods.....I mean that state and Australian rep player LOL

This is a yawn for mine, a quality winger but still a winger.

The problem is that Hook will try to blood someone else instead I playing his best winger.

It’s a lose lose situation so everyone has the right to be upset and comment in this site.

Josh Mansour does not want to leave the Panthers.

He simply want's and needs to secure his future.

He is a huge fan favourite at our club and I truly hope Gus Gould can find a way to offer him deal that is mutually acceptable to both Josh Mansour and the club. Time will tell. He deserves an substantial upgrade for his performances for us and his loyalty.
