Congratulations to the entire squad and coaching staff on a job well done.

With 4 rounds to play, the Panthers have wrapped up the minor premiership and with it comes the news that Garth Brennan with be staying as coach for the 2015 season.

Unfortunately,if the Panthers do make it,the grand final will not be played on the same day as the NRL grand final.

Instead, the winner of the NSWRL grand final will play the Qld competition equivalent in a NSW V Qld format.

Here is the NSW Cup ladder:

This should also win the Penrith Panthers the Flowers Memorial Pennant for securing the NSWRL Club Championship.

Good job, Garth Brennan really has some skill and potential, won't be long before he is coaching in the NRL

Heard his name mentioned in past few days on the radio as a possible relacement for Bennett at the Knights (among others) - I guess we would not stand in his way of a NRL coaching job if it came to be.

If he doesn't go to Newcastle, he may get offered something somewhere - the Raiders look like they need a coach :) Good luck to him, it looks as if IC may be around here for an extended period, so if he has aspirations for a higher role, he will have to make a move at some point.

Like I mention,he is staying for next season as he knows he is on a good enough wicket to stick around on.

I think it says something about our club that a lower grade coach would rather stay than take on a head coach role at another club.

mutley, you need to look a little closer mate.

You drive your Air Conditioned new age bus around a regular known route, your comfortable with your performance and you don't have your superiors riding your arse to perform better each day.

Would you give that up for a Bucks weekend Bus where you have no security and have to do all the cleaning afterwards. How much more would you need to handle an environment like that.

The grass is not always greener my friend, S.A. was a dump B)

I prefer the older buses, they have more balls then the new $800,000 Mercedes P.O.S that I had to drive today :P

That will be very interesting to see. There have been a number of pundits claiming that the Qld comp was a superior comp to NSW Cup. I recall at least 1 club who were 'threatening' to put their feeder club in Qld at one point. Cherry-Evans came straight into the NRL from Sunny Coast team and fitted in from day 1.
