I think some of it can be attributed to the resting of players in First Grade over the past few weeks. Those two squads have not had a consistent squad over the past 8 weeks, and it was showing.

from what i understand the only players who were called up from NSW Cup were Jenkins and Eisenhuth
were there more?
with a full strength NRL 17 playing, that would see McLean, Jenkins, Peachey, Cogger & possibly Garner in NSW Cup which would make a difference.

Just on the resting of players, we need to be careful, win week 1 semi’s there is another week off, with such a young group all this time off could mess with the psyche.
