[2026] NSC Panthers v Dolphins - Game Day Thread

[Bryan]

Agree there was plenty of NRL talent in the Dolphins side, but I don’t think it really matters what the selection criteria were. All you want from your team is to turn up and try their best. In this case, the side failed on both counts - they didn’t up, and they didn’t try their best.

Griggsy summed it up, it was very un-Penrith like. More to the point, I suspect the club agrees - there’s no coverage of the game on the club’s website. You can bet that, if the team had won, or gone down swinging, there would have been an article/video about the game. In this case, there’s nothing. Zip. Nada. Not a peep.

I think that speaks volumes.

Boy some sad sacks on here this week!

Not a good performance by the boys for sure. Never really in the game - perhaps all their energy was expended last week. Too many missed tackles and poor options, and the bounce of the ball was crazy at times.

Just like the players, we all need to take a breath, reflect on winning the NSW Cup, and rest up for 2027.

Enjoy your off-season one and all. I’m off on a cruise on Wed to recover from the '26 season, & will try and catch some of the World Cup on TV and set myself for a big 2027, in hopefully our great seats in our new stadium
