Good finals-like win. The Dogs threw plenty at us, and we had enough answers to get the win. Edwards & Martin were both huge for us.

What about the pick up by Martin on the run?

Need to digest that.

We looked “on” in the first 5 minutes though, which was great to see. If Cole keeps playing like that, I don’t see a path for Talagi. I don’t see him usurping Cogger, but that edge defensively has tightened right up.

Discipline was great to see. Back to the Panthers flavour of footy and it showed.

So many players lifted.

Edwards massive runs, he’s been down. Must be regaining fitness and recovering from past injuries?

To’o was big

Hopefully Tagos injury isn’t too bad.

Apparently Alamoti due back next week. Just dont rush them back!

He’s starting to play well again too. I honestly like where IC has him.

I have to call out Milkys defense all game too.

So good to see so many players hitting peak form.

I just hope we don’t rest many next week, we can’t risk a round one final against the warriors

What a game! They were tough, but we were tougher. If Kevin Walters picks anyone other than Edwards for the Australian team after that performance, you have to wonder if he’s favouring his fellow Queenslanders.

Smith was once again outstanding and is going to be a massive asset for us moving forward. Henry is going to be seriously missed—he’s been fantastic.

Is it just me, or has Moses had a pretty quiet year?

Griggsy, I mentioned to a mate whilst watching the game. Moses had a big hit up early on and then barely noticed him.

Henry will be missed though. Other than potentially being dudded a try due to his terrible pass :joy: he was great. Really going hard.

Henry is currently our Moses of old. It’s a shame we are losing him as he hits his prime

It was great to watch Edwards get back to his best. Focused on the game and was everywhere in attack and defence.

I think we played great, couldn’t really fault anybody. The Bulldogs had everything to play for and tried to apply the blowtorch, but was kept in the Kennel all night, only crossing the line when walked up the field via penalties. Had we not given away so many, we could have help them scoreless.

I’m still scratching my head over the Jenkins No Try call… It’s been a try everyday of the week. Ever since I was a kid it’s the same, you have to touch the ground you can’t secure the ball mid air and have it be deemed secured in goal. I’m going to love the NRL explain that one away.

With the Roosters losing tonight, we are guaranteed top 2.

How much do we value the minor premiership? IC may elect to rest all, or many, of the players next week in preparation for the finals???
NSW Cup have a week off after winning the Minor Premiership, so they will all be available,

After so many recent losses, I think that maintaining momentum will be more important.

I thought that Talagi played well in today’s Cup game. And Lemoto might just fit in for Henry.

I never thought resting players was an option, but with top 2 secured I think IC may take that option. I’m sure the boys could use a rest.

We have typically done well coming off a week’s break at finals time. Gives plenty of rest and recovery and time to dial in.

Rest, win, rest, win, win.

Theres the path.

Warriors seem obsessed with keeping the one point differetial over Panthers. They said last week that they weren’t aware of the impact of the field goal. And if you believe that, I have a harbour bridge for sale.
