While a southern stand has been future proofed, it is not being built as part of the redevelopment due to the $308m cost limit.

the southern hill will be rebuilt, in a slightly different form, which as you say will slightly reduce capacity.

Big JayDog Adventures has posted an update video, doing a flyby in October 2025.

The Sydney Water works is looks mostly done now and the foundation work is being prepared for the eventual grandstand construction.

The only remaining feature of the old Penrith Football Stadium is the Northern Family Hill and the Canteen/Toilet block on the Southern Hill.

The first concrete has been poured at the new Penrith Stadium and 1991 Premiership Captain Royce Simmons and 2003 Premiership Captain Craig Gower have left their mark the mark the occasion.

The first pour of concrete means the project is on schedule, as it races to be ready for the start of the 2027 season. :crossed_fingers:

Drove past the stadium today, and a number of large cranes in place ready to lift the steel members. The concrete foundations for the Eastern stand (can’t get a view of the western stand) are complete

I was just about to mention that, looks like part of the eastern stand is being erected.

Another update from Big JayDog Adventures, doing a flyby in Late November 2025.

Big changes are the concrete foundation is down on the Eastern side and the steel supports have started going up. The project seems to be moving along at a steady pace. Weather permitting, this project may be finished on (or before) time.

Was going to post that, but had trouble with the YouTube link.

Well since that footage, a drive past the stadium yesterday, I saw the eastern steelwork is now complete. Got to say the stand looks absolutely huge in real life.
