That’s an encouraging statistic - NOT, particularly when the team has had a few recent years of astonishingly high success rate. Maybe Klein and Cummings are soul mates.

Going on the current crop of referee’s he has by far the worst record with Penrith.

At one stage we lost about 13 in a row under him!!!

As I’ve said in the past, the NRL should look into our win rate with him vs overall win rate. The discrepancy is huge (even if it has improved over the last 2 years), and it doesn’t make sense.

Teamlist Update

James Fisher-Harris and Liam Matin have been elevated to the bench for this weeks matchup, with J’Maine Hopgood dropped to 18th man.

Robert Jennings and Lindsay Smith are omitted.

SOURCE

As strong a side we can produce with Leota and To’o out.

Good to see Geyer making his return from injury too

You’d like to think that the Panthers admin would take these stats to the NRL with a ‘Please Explain’.

To whet the appetite. Enjoy:

Rugby League can be a cruel game.

Panthers are all over this mob yet only lead by 6.

The first two tries by Panthers were league at its absolute best but the 2nd try by Crichton was poetry in motion…sublime passing and the deserved outcome

Yet with all this we only lead by 6

Martin doesn’t look 100% to me and Cleary is definitely feeling his way into the game but JFH has been brilliant

We need to put a couple on them early in the 2nd half and this will be all over…but they are dangerous.

well done boys with a deserved win
outplayed Bunnies in every department despite Cleary being a little flat and Martin not being 100%

What i take out of that game is we can focus and take it up a level when and as required, similar to Storm when they were the benchmark

Great win.

Cleary looked a bit rusty early, especially kicking, but improved the more the game continued.

JFH & Martin also good retuning from injury.

Edwards & Yeo would have to be 2 of the most consistent players in the competition. They turn up every week & get the job done.

I’m loving our lethal left. New players, new combination, looking good. Have to wonder how things will be reshuffled when To’o returns?

Have to laugh at the Souffs supporters saying they would have won the GF if Latrell played. Didn’t do them much good tonight.

JERSEY FLEGG CUP REPORT

well said steamboat, you’ve done it all for me.
As a collective, we were very good.

There are few better feelings than beating the Rabbitohs at home. 20000 strong crowd as well!

An all round great performance, in front of a packed home crowd.

Everyone stood up.

Edwards was my MOTM. Unbelievable performance. I will call it now - on current form he is number 1 fullback in the game.

Even with Cleary a little rusty, we still stood head and shoulders above the bunnies.

We made Latrell look like a fool.

No flags at the ground made judging the wind hard.

I can’t see us loosing before Origin.

A good problem to have, how do we fit To’o in if May keeps this form up? Some out there suggestions- play To’o off the bench as prop rotation, or move Staines to centre and play Critta off the bench?

It almost embarrassing how far ahead of the competition we are, we we still have plenty of room for improvement.

I’d be having To’o next to Chricton, with Staines dropped. Need to keep May & Tago together.
