I hear the Fish and a few others won’t be playing due to covid exposure,

Cleary won’t be playing.

Most of the other first graders should play.

Geyer let slip he will be in the squad, probably like last year we plays the detonates in the first half, the maybes and hopefully in the second.

I can’t wait, first game I have been to since May last year

Oh joy. Cummins and Klein. The year’s off to a great start, NOT.

Who are the other players?

If last week was any indicator, we would be expecting the team to be announced this afternoon.

:mega: Team List has been added above.

You seem to be on the money with that one.

No James Fisher-Harris, Dylan Edwards, Isaah Yeo, and Liam Matin.

Unless I am missing something, Falls does not seem to be be playing in any grade this week. He had a very good game last week.

I wouldn’t jump to any assumptions with covid still circulating.

There was talk however he was on train and trial with both us and the Eels in the pre season.

Yep I noticed that too.

Don’t know about ground condition but if it’s anything like my backyard it’ll be a real slogfest. Hope we pull up without too many knocks and bruises.

Yeah the ground has received quite a bit of rain over the last few day. It’s going to be a bit of a wet weather grind tonight.

Might need to pack a snorkel or two.

And the oxygen tanks. It is soggy as.

I hate to say I might be watching this from home instead of going to the game. Non stop rain all day

You know I’m starting to think that conditions have become too hazardous for a preseason trial. Really, there’s little too gain for either club a week out from the real stuff. Aside from possible injury, the ground won’t benefit from a slogfest. Why don’t we all take our covid home and worry 'bout the comp next week.

I was never going to get there today anyway due to other commitments. Luckily I will be able to watch on TV. Looks like water polo might have been a better choice for today.
:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Lucky you. I can’t get to the game, and I can’t watch either.

Geyer - dislocated elbow

A few players need to shake more than a few cobwebs out.

The worst in my book was Api.

The good news is that Leota is fired up and ready to go, and Hopegood shows great signs of being a first choice bench player.

Jerome and Charlie are going alright too
