SuperCoach news: Mass changes. Caleb Aekins has been dropped from the fullback slot in favour of Dylan Edwards. Brian To’o may emerge as a cheapie prospect down the track after being named on the wing in place of Josh Mansour (dropped). Sione Katoa starts at hooker with Wayde Egan (shoulder) ruled out. Liam Martin (suspension) returns at lock with Kaide Ellis switching to the bench and former Origin prop Reagan Campbell-Gillard dropped. Waqa Blake (disciplinary) returns at centre with Tyrell Fuimaono dropping to the bench.
I have no clue what to expect tomorrow night. Will the shake-up awaken the boys? Will the real Panthers turn up? I guess we will have to stay tuned & wait & find out??
See you at the park - not sure how many will be there?? 6 o’clock Fri night is the worst timeslot, even if we were going well.
i agree on the time slot…whoever thinks 6PM in Penrith is fine is a moron.
Most of the workers who live our city are still stuck on the M4 trying to get home…and to have it at 6PM is madness
why couldn’t it be 6PM on Saturday?
And on the crowd…IF we get 10k it will be a miracle, much like Waqa being early for training
On what we will see will depend a lot on how we start, if we start like last week Warriors will put 80 on us.
Noting Warriors came home hard to win last week after being down heavily at half time but this is one team i wouldn’t give a start to.
Again i wouldn’t start with Maloney under any circumstances because he just isn’t worth the risk IMO
We will see but if you follow the head you would be backing the Warriors but Panthers with the heart
I want to see some deep long kicks to corners to turn the big boppers from warriors around…not once but at every opportunity
Kick deep and long and defend in their half.
But i would be happy if we just tried…and how bad is that!
Brian To’o looks to have speed and can finish…Mansour desrves to spend time in reserves. Hope Dylan Edwards can return to form hes very good at his best I also like Jarome L off the bench as long as he is injected into the game before its all over. Lets go Panthers.
Agree about the 6pm timeslot, can’t stand it. Granted I have an RDO this week, but other factors might make it hard for me to watch the game live, let alone get out to the ground.
I’ve got a feeling this is going to be a cricket score, just not sure which team will be batting
I will be having a few “Brian’s” (for Puss lol) tonight regardless, I just hope they don’t taste bitter by 7pm Who am I kidding, even if they put 40 on us that beautiful liquid amber bliss commonly known as Tooheys New can never be tainted.
Those that are saying it’s how we start are missing the issue, our game tonight will be won or lost in the shed before a ball is kicked.
Just on the start time, it’s a bit late when you finish work at 12 on Fridays, Difficult to stay sober all afternoon
I should be at the club by about 3pm, and eager for a drink after a 6 week dry spell (although not too many as I have to drive an hour to get home & am working tomorrow )
Come to think of it, last time we won was also the last night I had a drink before my self imposed 6 week ban. So if you could all form an orderly queue to buy me a beer…
