Some interesting changes in the squad this week.

All the Origin players are back on deck with a virtually full strength squad.

Tyrone May and Spencer Leniu moved to the extended squad, in place Mitch Kenny and Izack Tago are added to the bench.

Tyrone May needs to smarten himself up or he’ll stay there.

Kenny won’t let anyone down if called upon. And Tago deserves an opportunity.

What is going on with Lenui? A real trier with energy to burn, hope he comes good for our sake.

Klein refereeing again?

Good to see Ivan has taken action with May and promoted Kenny and Tago.

Hope he doesn’t make late changes to bring May and Momo back. 1-17 as listed looks well balanced (although I would replace Sorensen with another prop if we had one fit and in form)

yes it is interesting to see May and Momirovski being dropped and Lenui must be a challenge for IC

he seems to have it all yet cannot put it all together and after 2 losses, IC is looking for some certainty from the squad and getting back on track

I still have grave concerns about Eisenhuth and Sorenson, yet like Tago being rewarded for energy and effort.

This is now a real must win game and should be no excuses with SOO players rested.

I expect IC doesn’t like the antics of Spencer, and i tend to agree with him to a point. Don’t get me wrong, I love his enthusiasm in both defense and attack, but too many times with ball in hand he gets up and ‘plays the victim’ for whatever happened in the tackle. Get up and play the ball to enhance your TEAMS chances.

GOB SMACKED at Eisenhuth still in the side

Only if you call what Klein does refereeing…

I’ll get in early. Tipping Crichton to have a blinder. :sunglasses:

Oh, and Staines to see more of the ball !!!

Matt Eisenhuth has been dropped, with Spencer Leniu coming onto the bench. Naden is the 18th man.

That’ll make a few people here happy!

I like the way we played the last 25mins, hope we go on with it

looks like Robinson had one simple tactic and that was blitzkrieg
hit us hard and early and hope we make mistakes in coming back at them.

biggest congrats go to the hardy Panther fans who turned up in the rain and cold.

oddly the rain has moved away which signals bad news for the Roosters

We need to ice this now and make a real statement

We were running into the wind and rain in the first half. Both stopped at half time.

Martin looked exceptional at the ground. His energy and passion was second to none.

We ne very happy panther fan now at home, what a great team effort!

some scintillating backline play in the wet slippery conditions. Our blokes re invigorated the ‘team’ ethos, we were very, very good with our Origin contingent back from rep duties. The Roosters make no mistake, are a damn good side but we were far to good on the night. :sunglasses:

The NRL needs to implement substantive changes to protect playmakers from thugs.

So much talk about the first high shot on Cleary, but not a word said about the second shot (just on half time) when Cleary wasn’t falling and was hit in the face, and which was worthy of a sin-bin. I suspect that it was just a video ref square up.
I don’t think that Matt Eisenhuth was missed. He might be in for a long stint in reserves. Does Blacker ever gets a run in 1st grade?

I don’t know about Blacker, he hasn’t had many games in NSW cup.

I wouldn’t change too much from the 1-17 we played, barring injury of course. Maybe Kikau on the bench for Tago or Sorensen.

Momo, Eisenhuth and May certainly weren’t missed.
