I thought we should just bring in Naden for this game if Momorovski is out, minimising the changes. Watching NSW Cup yesterday, I didn’t see that Naden produced a ‘pick-me’ type display. He played well, but the game didn’t really go his way in terms of a big display. He was at RC, and most of the play went to the left, and then moved to FB during the 2nd half.
First look at Blacker - he is a big lad who runs extra hard. I think he was extra keen, and was up from the bench ready to go for a long while before he got on. Billy Burns played for dragons, made a couple of good runs, but was injured and didn;t play 2nd half.
Good win for the boys.
Eddie wasn’t out for too long (about 20 minutes if I remember correctly) but didn’t miss a tackle and managed an offload. His PCM was pretty good as well in attack as well.
Agree Mr Walker …Nado should be back in the team. He was instrumental in the long run of victories we had last season and was good coming off the bench in the second half of the GF. He was rightlypunished for his mistakes off the field. Give the fella a chance and lets see what he can do.
Yes. At this stage he is behind Tanner, Smith & Hopgood as middle 3rd players. I guess his big body is/was the attraction. We will have to see. I am aiming to get to the game on Thu in time to see at least some of the early game to check it out.
Must say I’m prepared to eat my words and welcome Naden back to partner Burton in the centres. While Momo had a good game two weeks ago, versus the broncos he was ordinary at best.
There’s rumour that Edwards and possibly Api could return this week.
I heard that they are expected back in Round 8. But they both have had an amazing recovery and could be back for Round 7, but I don’t think IC will risk it to be honest.
Apisai Koroisau and Dylan Edwards have been named on an extended bench. They may possibly be considered to play this week, returning a week earlier than expected.
