Just had a look at our team and its the very best we can put out with Kenny and Sorensen both back for this game.

Parra looked ok last week but to be fair faced a terrible side in the Bulldogs who didn’t offer much at all.

The only thing i want to see from this game is our attack being more potent.

Conditions will suit both teams, being dry and fast.

Hope we prevail in what could be a cracker game.

:mega: Team lists and match officials have been updated.

what a strange half
Our attack has improved albeit still looking clunky
Their 3 tries were the softest tries we have ever let in.
Forward passes by Eels seem to be OK

Luai is going to spend a good stint on the sidelines and his last “dumb” penalty put them in the position to score their last soft try.

We look the better side but terrible defence reads have cost us 3 tries and defence has been our hallmark.

Hope Cleary can get their attention at halftime and get them to focus.

and how is it possible for 1 team to have 2 of the biggest wingers in footy in Gutherson and Moses…or they think with all the flapping of their arms, they will take off.

well that was a win and we improved and our defence improved in the second half.

We bashed Parra and they will struggle whoever they play next week.

Only sad note for us was JFH has a shoulder injury.

Celebrate the wins boys…wasnt pretty but a giant step forward.

Just got home from the game.

Great to get a win over the eels in a regular season game

That try of Leota’s was something special. Pretty much a MOTM performance from him.

Kenny was outstanding as usual.

Yeo now has a 100% success rate with cross field kick try assists. Put him in the 6 next week.

Edwards was good as expected. Cleary much improved.

Our centres, second row and wingers need to work on their combinations and positioning.

Overall a much better performance, and while still far from perfect, inspires much confidence moving forward.

On a lessor note, what is going on with Luai?

Schneider looked very good in NSW cup

Well, that was a much improved performance as I had expected/hoped?? Still room for improvement, but as was said last week, the trophy is not won in March. I’m sure that defensive strength will return as the season rolls on & we will get better at converting our chances.

Great crowd & atmosphere at the game. We all need to celebrate the final season of our stadium, and look forward to the future - one where it doesn’t take 30+ minutes to get a beer!!

We have played two of the better teams in the comp & are 1-1. A couple of likely top 6 teams to come in the next two games and then the season will start to roll on. We will be the hunted each & every week, so it will never come easy.

There are no words to describe the level that Moses has taken his game to. I am talking about our Moses not the dickhead whinger that plays for the slimies. Leota’s performance in the last 3 GF’s put him at the very top of the tree of front rowers to play the game, ever. And now he scores tries like a free running FB

Work to be done, but we are going OK at this stage and we know we will improve.

Always a great weekend when we beat the slimies

Does anyone else have premonitions that this will be the year that Leota wins the Clive Churchill?

I’d love to see that. Might even throw a few on in.

Hard to add much to what has already been said.

Our attack looked a lot sharper that last week, and a lot of that was probably to do with Kenny returning & giving us more direction than what Sommerton or Luke could provide for us last week.

Yeo, Leota & Smith led the way from then front and gave us the room we needed in attack.

The only way the Eels even looked like scoring was when we gifted them field position via dumb penalties. In saying that, our goal line defence let in 3 soft tries, something I hope we won’t see happen again this year.

Great weekend to be a Panther - wins in NRL, NSW Cup & Flegg against the slimies.

Perhaps they have a few wing flappers in the lower grades ala Moses & Gutherson

WOO HOOOOOOO

Hate them idiots - what about the speed, grace, step, power of My Mate Moses The Motor Leotaaaaaa

The game wants to change rules to try and bring a better spectacle, I say anyone that harrases the ref other than the C, is penalise, then thrown in the bin - It is a blight on our game, whinging pricks…
