Well with the Sharks gone (thankfully), we know what awaits us next week if we do the job on the Broncos. The Storm looked good, but also looked beatable. To be honest both finals matches looked like they did enough to get the job done, but along with a bucket load of errors and penalties.

Melbourne Storm

Match Opponent Restult Errors Penalties Set restart
Qualifying Final v Bulldogs W 26-18 11 3 4
Prelininary Final v Sharks W 22-14 7 9 2

That being said… it can be argues that we are not tracking much better.

Penrith Panthers

Match Opponent Restult Errors Penalties Set restart
Qualifying Final v Warriors W 24-8 16 5 4
Prelininary Final v Bulldogs W 46-26 11 4 1

Needless to say, even with one game remaining in the season after this week, both Melbourne and Penrith still have room for improvement.

Does anyone know if the Flegg GF is televised?

Well, as I’ve said many times thru the season, I have yet to see a team that we can’t beat. We just need to play close to our best to get thru now. It has been a very different path to where we are from previous seasons, but we are there now.

Similar to last season, I am a little nervous about this game, as I was in the equivalent game vs sharkies last year. Once we got past the sharkies in 24, I was confident we would win the GF.

C’mon boys :paw_prints: :paw_prints:

Only on Bar Sports TV by subscription Rugby League on BarTV Sports as far as I know.

Thanks, Mr W. That sucks.

The NSWRL is trying their best to discourage fans from following the lower grades.

The way to follow the lower grades is pretty much the same as it’s been for my entire life ie go to the grounds and watch the games.

Apart from a few years when some of the U20’s games were on Fox, promoted as NRL Youth League or similar, or when Fox would show some NSW Cup games if they were played before an NRL game there has been precious little coverage of lower grades on TV, FTA or PFV. The NRLW has taken over the opportunity for TV broadcast of lower grades. There were some games streamed thru NSWRL in recent seasons, but the quality was low and not sure who was paying.

The Bar Sports product is pretty good and for the $20 per month there are hundreds of games to choose from, even a few for free. I feel I have got my money’s worth & I have got to see the Panther boys play week-in week out, so I am not complaining.

It’s a big day today - Flegg GF at 11am on BarSports & NRL at 4pm on FOX.

C’mon boys :paw_prints: :paw_prints:

Updated Team List

In days gone past you get to the ground early and get to see 3 games. Made a good day out. Annoying that they now separate the games.

Near perfect first half. I was expecting a lot more points in the game, but happy to see us keeping them scoreless. Another 40 minutes of this and we are off to the big dance again.

We keep it up and we are in our 6th consecutive grand final - pinch me I’m dreaming!

even one doing there part - while Cleary is getting the commentators kudos, that first try decision by Mitch set the tone of the game

Terrible second half. Too many dumb errors.

Panthers had their chances in the second half. The way they resurrected the year was still amazing and they definitely showed me and everyone else. Use this for next year boys.

Still in a little shock, but better to loose a prelim than a grand final, or not make a prelim at all.

how many times do I have to say never look a gift two points in the mouth during finals? That and the wrong penalty for the strike on Clearys legs changed the tone of the game, and we went into our shell.

Still very proud of the the team - there’s always next year
