The Penrith Panthers have returned to the Tarsha Gale Cup with a strong squad of talented women representing the Penrith Districts. Penrith did not compete in the 2021 competition with complications due to COVID-19 amongst other challenges, but look to make a impact in the 2022 season.
The Panthers were the inaugural champions of the Tarsha Gale Cup in 2017 where they defeated the Minor Premiers Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs 26-18 in a hard fought match
The Tarsha Gale Cup the Under-18s Women’s Competition provides a vital step for young women progressing to the elite level. This competiton feed into the NSW Women’s Premiership, then into the NRL Women’s Premiership.
