Yes, Grade 2 Hamstring tear, I think. Probably 4 - 6 weeks. Yeo is talking about trying to make a comeback to cover in centre. If he does, I think weā€™ll likely have him & Fuimaono in the centres - 2 backrowers, one with a buggered shoulder.

Doesnā€™t exactly fill me with confidenceā€¦

With the season all but finished, Yeo should have a full reconstruction on his shoulder instead of trying to play and probably injuring it again/worse.

Iā€™m hearing that Naden has been rested from todayā€™s Canterbury Cup game, so he will be fresh for our game against Manly on Thursday.

Thatā€™s good to hear. Iā€™d rather debut at least one genuine centre, like Naden or Braydon McGrady than have an injured Yeo and another backrower.

Now the SMH is suggesting that the shortage of centres will force Cleary to name DWZ in the side. I must admit, I hadnā€™t even considered that option.

Whether or not DWZ is in the side will say a lot about his status at the club.

I agree re Yeoā€¦get your shoulder fixed now and as my earlier thread suggested its time to reset and begin planning and trialling players for next year

Cleary has been named in the SOO side so he is out this week as well

Waqa Blake suffered a MCL Grade 3 Injury, that will see him out for 10 weeks.

Dean Whare has suffered a hamstring Tear in the same match against the Eels and will miss 6 weeks.

This will leave the Panthers without a specialist centre in their top 30 squad till at least Round 17.

Nathan Cleary looks to have suffered a syndesmosis injury to his right ankle. Scans will be required to confirm the Grade of the injury bu here is the estimated amount of time out depending on the grade. It is likely he will miss Origin 3 as well as at least 1 to 4 weeks of club football.

Scan today have ruled out a syndesmosis injury. Nathan Cleary has been diagnosed with a high grade lateral ankle injury and is currently dealing with a large amount of swelling. He is expected to miss up to 4 weeks.
