Also the copious amount of Sunday games. Sunday is a real bad day from me to get out to Parramatta to a game (had they been in Penrith I could make it work). It was so bad this year that for he first time in almost 20 years as a ticketed season holder I couldn’t justify buying it… the getting out to Parramatta by the time I’d arrive I’d get maybe 15 minutes of football.
Then I am told because I missed out on the season Tickets this year I miss out on first priority for tickets at the new stadium. The worst part is I would need another 2 seats for next year (5 in total).
yer that is crap Steve, I feel for you mate. All the Newby hangeronerers will get preference. I stopped buying my tickets after the 2nd GF wn, my $100 6 game membership went to $280 in 2 years…let’s rob the loyal !!!
The system/rules re allocation of seating for the new stadium were based on a member’s group, convened for that very purpose. I know one of those people personally & care was taken to try and make the allocation as fair as possible. I know the club were keen to ensure the best for their members & I understand the club followed the member’s group recommendations very closely.
The rules were published ahead of membership opening for 2025 season, and have been published a number of times since then, including ahead of renewals for 2026 season.
No system was ever going to suit everyone. Many have paid membership for Commbank for '25 and '26 and not been able to have full value for this, but wanted to ensure they would be right for 2027 and beyond. Many of us have done our best to be there to support our team, but sometimes it just doesn’t work.
If you somehow missed out on the details and have therefore just now found out how it will work, it is unfortunate & I am sorry to learn this. I truly hope that you, and others are able to have suitable seating for 2027 and beyond.
I kept my season ticket for the 2 years at Parra. Due to circumstances beyond my control I look like making less than half the games this year, and ironically, this may be my last year as a season ticket holder, again due to circumstances beyond my control.
If we look that ineffective missing just 3 SOO reps plus Kenny, then we are in trouble if any significant injuries occur. Such an uninspiring, rudderless effort. We were camped in their half, peppering their line, but were shut out from about the 15 minute mark, yet the Titans scored effortlessly each time an error of ours let them into our half.
Was this another example of a team lifting their performance to “season’s best” when they play Penrith? Or had Penrith read the betting odds and switched off after the early lead?
Cogger was poor, especially his kicking game, as was Talagi. Tago was a liability at times.
It was good to see Patea finally get a run in 1st grade, although he still looks like he has an error or two in him.
Jaydn Campbell must be one of the best players in the NRL pound-for-pound. And absolute accolades to the Titan’s defensive coach.
Is the only positive that we lost an away game only by a single point despite looking bereft of attacking ideas for most of the game? Who’s our attack coach; he needs to spend the week scrutinising the game video?
I wouldn’t say they were lacking in attacking plans… there was clearly an attacking plan, it just wasn’t being executed with good timing.
So many players over running the pass, Edwards constantly holding and running rather than playing the number advantage on the edges, decoy runners stuck with the ball, kicks not finding their mark. A lot of these are timing problems, something that Nathan would be keeping track of.
One standout I would say though was Garner. For a guy playing out of position he posted some close to the most run metres and was featured heavy in defence. Would pretty much be my MOTM.
Are we the only team in the nrl where SOO players didn’t back up?
I am sure it is not the doing of the players. They probably had no choice.
I would have been disappointed if I was going to the game and they weren’t playing.
I am sure I will get the reply to trust in Ivan - he knows what he is doing but for me it is about the fans who pay the bills and putting the strongest team on the field every week.
Maybe resting players helps in the long run, but it didn’t help last night.
