I have seen all the games up to this point this year. Klein would be close to the poorest performing referee so far. Both in the middle of the ground and in the video box.
We will have to keep things squeaky clean on the field to avoid the whistle.
As much as I hate to say it, I think the Sharks threw almost all they got at Penrith. For a Round 2 game, despite a little rust it was a high intensity, but quality match.
But the difference between the two sides couldn’t be more evident. The Sharks came in with intensity and tried to blitz the Panthers side, they had some success with that early on.
But as the game progressed, Panthers calm and steady approach paid off (as usual). They rode the bumps of the Sharks blitz and turned defence to attack.
The team will probably be sad about conceding 6 points, but the team was great and gave the Bathurst locals a fantastic show.
Agree fully with that Steve.
I note IC is on the same page as us, and anyone who knows anything about footy, with his reply to the dropkick ‘journo’ who suggested it was a scrappy game.
Good across the park in a game described as like a finals intensity.
2-0 vs top two 4 sides from last year so far - the signs are good. Memories of last years start seem a distant memory.
I was super impressed with our effort, this is our way of life and to be in that contest mindset throughout the 80mins is a massive positive. Our only concern will be stupid SOO causing us grief.
