Parra are in good form. Edwads is a big loss but, if the team can win without him, it should be a real confidence booster.

Jenkins named at fullback, but Edgar’s come into the squad. Wonder who’ll actually start the game?

For the first and hopefully last time since our home ground is Parra, I mistakenly travelled thinking it was a home game. Crossed my mind to buy tickets (I made it almost to the entry gates), but decided against it due to the late finish, and on these Thursday night games not getting home till almost midnight.

Luckily made the call at the right time to get a train home, will only miss the first 10/15 minutes.

I hate Thursday night games, and can’t wait to be back at our true home at Penrith and not sharing it with others.

Somewhat amazed this is the first time I have done this, had it been any other timeslot I would of stayed.

O hope the whole team realise they have to lift with Dylan being out.

Kinda a smart move playing Edgar, less disruption to our back line than moving Alamotti to the wing and bringing Tago into centre.

Never thought I would say that 1 or 2 seasons ago.

In saying that no disrespect to Milky at fullback, he did a great job the previous time he was thrown in there

Blaize pushing another blind miracle pass that goes against us. Then caught out in defence, that’s 2 of 3 tries.

Glad to get the points, but not overly convincing.

Edgar filled in well for Edwards, not afraid of the hard work. Young kid plenty of growth to go I’m sure. Stark contrast to critter filling in years gone by.

Alamoti is getting better and more consistent. A real beast

Good to grind out a win against the odds, I think it’ll give us confidence in building for the finals. Also good to see Papalii, Jenkins, McLean & Talagi in a huddle after the siren, having a confab about the left side defence, I’m sure they’re working on it.

Agree about Alamoti, he’s a gun! Hope we can keep him.

Seemed to really struggle at the start of the game. Having a couple in the bin seemed to provide the motivation they needed. But a couple of brain snaps.

With only seconds to go before half time, instead of kicking the line drop out long, a grubber kick straight to an eels player. Ended up with Milky in the bin. Fortunately no harm done due to the eel’s limp attack.

The second was the wild pass from Talagi that eventually led to an eels try. 12 up and with not long to go, they should have been keeping hold of possesion.
