Like see To’o rested, he’s pretty beat up. Alamoti would cover well.

Is Sorro just being rested or is it for family reasons? He’s not named in cup nor on the injury list.

Are you going to be the one who tells Bizza not to play??? :joy:

I would like to see Bizza fit for the challenging games coming up.

A User on X who was at their training session said that Sorro looked injured, and was doing separate training. Seems me may have picked up an injury last week. What an effort from him to keep going all game.

Updated Team List

Panthers coach Ivan Cleary has updated his squad for Saturday’s Round 21 clash with Wests Tigers at CommBank Stadium.

The Panthers will wear the 2025 Home Jersey for the match.

Solid first half. We have worked our way to a good lead. Our left edge has looked a bit out of sync in attack through.

Good win. We are building nicely for a run to the finals & beyond.

I think it safe to say the band is back together. That classic Panthers constricting football is back.

The Tigers hit early and kept up the pressure for the first 20 minutes as the Panthers slowly circled them and coiled around them like a python.

As soon as the Tigers took their foot of the pedal for a rest… BAM, BAM, BAM, Tigers down 18-2 at the break.

Second half the Panthers again took their time, applying pressure, tightening the coil, restricting field position and possession. When the Tigers started to get desperate and lose their cool (looking at you Luai), they stuck again… BAM, BAM, BAM. All over 36-2.

I heard in the radio a few days back that the Tigers considered this game as a “barometer” to how they are tracking. I think it indicated they should pack up and prepare for 2026.

We did seem clunky for periods of the first half, and I started to feel deja vu of the beginning of the season but the Panthers managed to quickly sort it out and strangle out a win.

I did almost blow a gasket when Lindsay decided to kick a grubber into the in-goal in the second half when he could have just ran hard for a try but the game was already over I guess.

We’re Building nicely - anything can happen these next few rounds.

Blaize was a little scratchy towards the start of the game. The rushing tigers defence seemed to force a few errors from. It was clever from Yeo to recognise this and play the short ball to Lindsay Smith for a nice try.

They recognised what wasnt working and adapted on the fly, which bodes well. Its also nice when a kid like Blaize doesnt have the best opening to a game, yet the squad overcomes it.

I said at the last Eels game that it felt like our fans were really starting to embrace that arrogance again. Well, now it seems the players are playing like that now. You never really felt like the tigers were in the game, and the boys almost played down to their level. I kind of felt like the game was little boring compared to what we’ve become accustomed to this year. (Which is nice by the way!!)

If these boys can find a way to sneak into that top four, my goodness. Hold your hats for a potential five peat!

I agree. A few passes were forced by the Tigers defence and they were not finding the receivers chest.

Overall I thought Blaize did well. A bit shakey in the first 20 but settled down and had a lot of impact in the second half. I can say that he has improved week on week, I don’t feel like there was a week where I would say “oh I feel he slipped back a bit today”. More game time with Nathan is definitely helping.
