Better I suppose for the Roosters to get their second win against us since 2020 this week rather than in the Finals
Something disappointing for me is that in recent weeks we are not seeing the razzle dazzle of the earlier games in the season. Forty twenties, double chip kicks, effective offloads, winning the battles in the air. It is like the team has gone into a shell leading up to the finals.

During the first half of this year, whenever Penrith made a mistake the typical response from the commentators was that such an incident was “unPenrithlike”. You don’t seem to hear that anymore, because such acts of carelessness or, dare I say it, stupidity, are now all too common.
To be fair, that defensive effort was far better than the Warriors game. I expect IC would be quietly confident that, with our defense in order, our attack can be released to what it was at the start of the year, when we were also keeping sides to bugger all. Defense wins premierships !
