I went with our back row, they were massive for 80 in both defense and attack.

Two try saving tackles holding up in goal, the only try assist of the game, and a no try that for all money should have been a try. It’s had to deny Daine this week.

O’h I’m not arguing his involvement and results this week, but I look at all games from a forwards perspective, not too many games where backs get votes from me……just the way I am. He was close though, definitely in the thinking and I almost picked him over Eisenhuth who I thought was also strong for the most part. I can’t imagine the forwards pre game mindset, they were playing some quality HARD opposition, and IMO deserve alot of the credit for the game effort by the Pennies. Could have easily turned the heels up and been flogged.

Oh I gave Eisenhuth a vote… he had a great game, and depite not know how the pregame coin toss worked he did a bang up job leading the squad.

At the end of the day I went with Laurie, Alamoti and Eisenhuth.
