Hard to go past Edwards this week (or any other week this year). He is just on another level this year. Hard hitting up the middle, there in support play, and just giving it his all.
Yeo had a strong game, big metres, hard hitting in defence, seems just like another game for Yeo, but his ‘just another game’ would be a massive effort for other Locks.
Alamoti was very good for a game he was dropped into late in the week. Solid in defence, and made the Tigers defence bend when he came at them. The try he put on was pretty special too.
For mine Yeo was the standout, but I also loved the work of the new bash brothers, Henry and Smith, I thought the momentum changed when our bench played their bench. Which speaks volumes about JFH and Moses being held by some aged care forward in Klemmer…That pom they have is a piece of work, always up to no good in the ruck…GRUB
