I feel for To’o though, had a couple of bad moments, but not sure he deserved to be dropped. At least we get to see him in action on Friday then! It would be nice to put a convincing win in against the bunnies.
There is so much negativity about NSW and the selections in social media, that it actually makes me nervous that NSW might pull a rabbit out of the hat.
As a QLDer, I was quite nervous about the expectations of a QLD win and the negativity around NSW selections that NSW would come out ahead.
I think some dubious calls with real momentum killers (the unshown corner post, of all cameras, was the angle to show it wasn’t a knock on for Bostocks try?) continue the trend of questionable ref/bunkers all series/season.
I’ve told anyone who would listen that we’ve won because of forwards have been more dominant. To your credit, your forwards laid a platform tonight and allowed the likes of Cleary to actually go to work. Haas and Fanua-Blake were beasts and I think deserve big plaudits. Well played by NSW.
Disappointed about the game, but happy for Cleary. Hopefully this silences some doubters for him. Also hope Martin brings the aggression back with him for the rest of the season.
I’m not the biggest Ashley Klein fan but I have to say I did enjoy him shutting Munster at halftime when he came up to have a whinge about “There was a bunch of times where (the Blues) should have been sin binned”, to Ashley Klein holding his hand out and saying “I’m going to stop you right there” and then walking away to a shocked Munster. ABSOLUTE GOLD!
