What people opinions on World Club Challenge to be played on Magic Round in Brisbane around May ?

Sounds like the only option to have the game played. Not sure if Wigan will want to travel down-under during their season.
We will have to wait & see if the idea gains traction.

Depends on the importance you place on it. I see it as a solid final training run, nothing more.

I’ve aways had the opinion it should be players a couple of weeks after the season finishes. Waiting 4 months for a glorified trial is ridiculous, and there would be changes to both teams.

Vlandis and Super League appear to be supportive. I love the idea of playing it magic round- hell I might even attend for once if this is the case

Penrith vs Sharks 1st March Saturday Night Round 1

Penrith vs Wigan 6th March WCC Thursday Night

Penrith vs Etc March 17th Monday Night Round 2

Penrith vs Etc March 23rd Sunday Night Round 3

I’m with you Kev. I don’t place much interest in it. It’s not a game I would consider a measuring stick of anything to be honest.

WCC holds less appeal to me than SOO and my thoughts on SOO are well documented.
