I guess the RCG effort is deemed more than acceptable being promoted to starting front row :flushed:

Yeah, I was surprised by that too. I didn’t think Tim Grant did anything really wrong to warrant a move back to the bench, Also didn’t think I saw anything that great to warrant a move him back to the starting lineup. :man_shrugging:

all might change before kick off with Kikau on extended bench and of course this could be a ploy as well.

On the interchange of RCG and Grant
you couldn’t argue one was any better than the other atm so who is a starter over a bench player is a little moot

This is a game between to very ordinary teams
Tigers have been getting lapped and we have been working up to getting lapped.

Whoever wins
it won’t be close IMHO

Whoever turns up in the right frame of mind will win by plenty

Whare’s back and don’t let much thru steamboat,
I think it’ll be closer than you’re predicting !

well arrived in Brisvegas for Magic Round. Some business meetings tomorrow & Fri am, but focus is the footy!

Maybe it’s just a few beers I’ve had but hoping for a win. There will be 28 of my family & friends on the Panthers supporters Bay Fri night.

C’mon boys!

i hope i am wrong but
Tigers have scored 140 and let in 166
Panthers have scored 113 and let in 180

Both teams don’t value their own try line and we are close to worst in the league in defence coming in 3rd worst and we are 2nd worst in scoring

I believe one team will be completely broken during this game
we are 8 games in and reality is looming large for both and it’s up to how the team responds on the night

and have a great week MR W
well done on going up and hope you bring better luck then i did in Wagga

SBF Rugby League players pride themselves in who gets the starting gig, particularly up front. It is a pride thing and maybe that is IC plan to have RCG step up now he has ‘returned’ to starting front row.

Regardless we need to get angry in defence and our halves need to get to the line before passing, no more Luke Walsh playmaking

Waqa Blake has been dropped for being late to training. Hame Sele is also out with a back strain. Tyrell Fuimaono replaces Blake at centre & Sione Katoa has been promoted to start at lock. RCG has also been promoted to the starting lineup. New on the bench are Jarome Luai & Kaide Ellis.

Glad to see Luai in the 17, hope he brings some much needed spark.

Well I hope everyone is fit because this is almost last chance for both sides. I will be there and just hope to see a side that actually holds onto the ball which should then lead to a better outcome.

“hope he brings some much needed spark” -: so do I. :astonished:

Blake being dropped is a terrible sign

any truth to the rumour there was a “crisis” meeting with all players, coaches and some board figures on Tuesday?

Blake went off the rails before with Moylan
maybe he wants out

‘’ a terrible sign"

sure is, he don’t live in Kirrawee. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Or maybe he was just late.

maybe he was “just late” Bryan but considering the mess we are in wouldn’t you think he would be “just early” to make sure he trained harder and longer to set a high mark for others to match.

The website says Blake was late because he misread the training schedule. If you’ve got some information that suggests he wants out of his contract, maybe you could share it with us.

Although Blake isn’t being utilised correctly in attack he hasn’t provided much regardless. I am happy for some kind of standard to be set, if IC loses his ‘power’ as coach it will be anarchy. I would also assume both IC & NC are realising the difficulty of the father / son working relationship.

Those not ‘in the click’ can become very disgruntled very very quickly, it happens in all business formats where preferential treatment exists, let’s hope that isn’t the Panthers :frowning:

first time in my life I quit a game after 20 mins.
can’t bring myself to watch a Panthers side that
roll over so lamely. This is an embarrassment.

Yep. It’s not real good, is it?
