Finals week 1 showed that souths can’t be underestimated.

they are doing something right, beat us in week 1 and they are in the GF, their efforts speak for themselves
That being said, i am happier to be playing them than anyone else.
Best news is we now can focus on the game with Cleary not being cited.

I think they are playing more of a team game, rather than arranging the game around Mitchell, which gives them more points of attack. In saying that, they still only managed 2 tries against us, in what was arguably our worst performance of the year.

Possible change I would consider (barring injury) would be to play 4 forwards on the bench (leaving May out).

Presuming Leota is fit and starting, i would have a bench of;

TPJ / Tago (TPJ may have a knee injury).

Hopgood / Smith (if Fish is out).

There is a question out of the weekends results.

IF Storm had of beaten us on Saturday and advanced to the GF…why as Minor Premiers do they get one day less turnaround then Bunnies?

and in our case…why do we get one day less turnaround.

An oddity and being Minor Premiers has had no material advantage for Storm.

I expect this will be to do with TV - we have to be careful not to sell our soul, yes we need them, but in turn THEY need us also, hence why they pay. We just need to maintain our core values in RL and this point is so very valid to the convo as the perfect example.

The top 2 in the competition proper should be afforded any gratuity such as an extra day to recover.
