With Edwards & Momorovski expected to be available, and with NC & Luai out, & with a Sunday game(?) I expect that all SOO3 players will be named and with hopefully no injuries to take their place against the warriors.
Burton will be named in the halves and will take control of the team & we will be looking for big contributions from Yeo, Api & Dylan to offset the loss of NC & Luai.
Who know what game the warriors will bring?

The season starts again in earnest from this week

I fear the position T. May will play…if it’s between 1-17 the game will be alot closer than it should be.

So, Kev, your ideal position for T. May is LRO (left right out)?

Hopefully, NZ will be as ill-disciplined and error-ridden as they were yesterday.

:mega: Team Lists and Match Officials have been updated.

I hope and pray that no 7 will not play.

Let Salmon fish from 5/8 and Burto to steer the ship.

And hope all our boys backup form Origin.

Nooooooooo

What is the love and fascination with this bloke, is it just because he lives with NC, or is the friendship deeper than that.

You can’t play favorites in 1st grade…

makes you wonder don’t it ?

and Kenny warming the bench and Salmon barely making the res list!

aside from the 7, not a bad side !!!

Panthers players all seem to come out of origin 3 unscathed. Hopefully they will all be on the ground on Sunday.

if we cannot win a game like this with all but Cleary and Luai, well we have problems
I am as uncomfortable with May at 7 as everyone and i guess we will either be right or wrong come 6PM on Sunday

But these games are key to where finish and whilst we were looking at 1st or 2nd, i have all but reset my thinking to a Top 4 spot which is OK but how we play without Cleary and Luai is key to our hopes this year.

I am more concerned about the “shift” of our squad to QLD for what may be the remainder of the year and a lot will come down to how we handle this “disruption” to our routine and takes us out of familiar areas like our state of the art gym, recovery facilities let alone the comfort of your own bed/house etc

Its the same for everyone of course but some are more adept at it like Storm who have done this before and in my opinion gives them an advantage over all other teams.

But first things first, we need to beat Warriors and all others until Cleary and Luai return.

No sense focussing on the prize when you have to work hard to even get there.

We did see what happened to the Blues without Cleary and Luai.

Yes, for you complaining about TMay, just think it could be Moses

:mega: Team List Updated.

All Origin players have come out of Origin unscathed and will line up tomorrow against the Warriors.

NOTE:

The kickoff time for our game is now 1.50pm, due to it being part of the double header with the Broncos gsme.

Glad I checked the time of the game only 5 minutes ago, or I would of missed the first half.

Still not convinced with May on the halves, but at least we have Edwards back, the origin contingent and Kenny on the bench.

It may be a clunky game, but I confident of a win.

Kenny starting with Api on the bench

That’s a worry, not Kenny, but API on bench !!

first things first…the ref calls against us is an indictment on the NRL.
Forward passes being missed, penalties against us for nothing. It is really quite sad to see and one could be forgiven to call it bias.
That being said we are close to awful and if they had of not had injuries, i believe they would be well in front with gaping holes in our middle
And can someone explain the Burton kicking game…he hasn’t found grass and the one time he passes to Kikau we score

They will try their best for the first 15 minutes and fatigue will kick in and they could capitulate sooner if we score early But we should run away with this

I will want to see how we compete in the 2nd half…and keep them scoreless

I think May is showing is all he is not even a reserve grade player .
