Team lists are a joke…Just reading Broncos named both players that went to hospital but not lodge who has a hammy problem, and Knights named Kurt Mann who done his MCL

What is the actual point of naming teams on Tuesday?

:mega: Team lists & Officials Information have been updated.

Who is Andrew Webster (AC) ???

I should know, but for the life of me I can’t seem to place him.

Andrew Webster joined Penrith this year, coached 6 years at Hull KR, and been in coaching roles at a few NRL clubs more recently (Tigers, Eels, Warriors).

Here is an interview the Panthers did with him preseason.

Thanks for that Steve.

attacking coach and his references are Tigers,Eels and Warriors.

my my

anyways from what i saw on the weekend Bulldogs were simply terrible and the only interest in this game will be the Panthers who are now at the dogs and how they lift to give us the finger

Hetherington for example IMO was lucky some of his cheap shots didn’t land ( on the weekend, and suspect he will go out of his way to try and hurt some of our team.

We will need to lift and improve over last week but expect us to win.

Anyone know what’s happened to Brent Naden? He was fullback in NSW Cup last week, but not listed this week. Is he injured?

2 week suspension for a tackle gone wrong

Thanks, Tom. Pity, he needs game time.

Naden, perhaps keen to make amends for his actions late last season, had a series of serious brainfarts on the weekend. It started with the ref missing a clear 6 again for a touch from an opponent, then soon after a shoulder charge by a souths player on Falls following his kick. Naden blew up big time yelling at the ref. Soon after he cleanly caught a kick in goal & the ref ruled a 20m tap. Clearly Naden then said something & the ref changed the tap for Penrith into a penalty to Souths, from which they scored in the corner, Naden coming in late & getting sent to the bin & an 8 point try awarded! Souths scored again before half time with Naden off the field, and again soon after his return, just after half time. We went from 18-0 up to down 18-26. We then came back to win 36-16.
I guess neither Wally of IC would have been too impressed with Naden.

so … it’s raining ‘cats and dogs’ @ Bank West this arvo.
I hope the footy isn’t too affected to dull the enthusiasm of those
brave enough to venture out. A Panther win would suffice despite
the appalling weather. Fingers crossed !!!

Kenny might be on the bench, he is not playing 2nds

Panthers hooker Apisai Koroisau will be sidelined for an extended period after suffering a broken wrist in the team’s Round 1 victory over North Queensland Cowboys.

The 28-year-old Fijian international was replaced early in the second half at Panthers Stadium, with scans later confirming the severity of the injury.

Koroisau has undergone surgery and is expected to be sidelined for at least six weeks.

Mitch Kenny is expected to start at hooker in Saturday’s NRL clash against the Bulldogs.

Burton, Sorensen & Jennings all playing NSW Cup. Koroisau injured, so our 17 is settled. Only a question of if Kenny or May start at hooker.

Kenny for mine. He’s been understudy before & done a good job. Keep May as the utility.

I like the look of Kurt Falls in NSW Cup. Has nailed 2 sideline conversions in this weather.

Hey Brian Dorrigo copping it’s fair share of rain, how you holding up?

should have left Kenny on the bench on his first half…simply not up to this level imo and shows a serious weakness for us with Api out
I think Mamarovski and Crichton are still dry or standing under cover somewhere cause aint seen them.
