Kickoff and line dropout would be Edward’s for certain.
Goal kicking I would suggest Edwards, Salmon, Cogger and our outside backs are all having a goal kicking shootout at training, my money at this stage would probably be Edwards, however wouldn’t be surprised if a good goal kicker is hidden away, even if it was Salmon or Tago.
The kind of player who practices in private basically for fun, knowing he has 3 good kickers in front of him.
So could be a surprise in store.
If he wasn’t playing origin, I reckon Yeo would have a high % kicking goals, although he’s too modest to put his hand up. I’m convinced Yeo can do anything is asked of him lol.
Agreed. We are missing 7 players from our starting side. The players we have coming in will put up a good fight, and might even win, but it will not be as easy as the bookmakers have us.
Panthers coach Ivan Cleary has updated his squad to face North Queensland Cowboys.
Moses Leota will miss the clash due to the birth of his third child, with Spencer Leniu promoted to the starting side and Liam Henry to the interchange.
The Panthers will wear the 2023 away kit for the Round 16 clash.
Good first half, a lot better than I was expecting, given the players we are missing. I have been particularly impressed with Salmon, who has really stepped up for us.
