Has been confirmed for Sunday. I won’t be buying a ticket until I get the results of some tests through the week. Will also have to go straight from work if I am going.

in some ways Saturday night would have been better for me, it would have been a straight no with me having to be up at 4.30am on Sunday.

I am guessing no one at the NRL expected the broncos to win. So now they have to go back and redo all their scheduling for the Saturday game.

News from the Panthers have confirmed that Mitch Kenny will return this week from a hamstring strain that kept him ouit of last weeks clash.

It will be the FIRST time this year we have played with a fully fit squad.

Well after some stuffing around with Ticketek this morning in the members offering timeslot, in which we ‘lost’ the offered seats twice getting the dreaded “well that was unexpected” message, we have secured tickets in section 133 (Cat 1). This is on western side, so no looking into sun for us & similar location to last year vs sharkies.
The panthers supporters bay quickly came up as allocation exhausted, so that’s a good sign re support for our team.
C’mon boys :paw_prints: :paw_prints:

Had the same problem, I found that if you don’t disable any pop-up blockers / cookie blockers / ad blockers it causes chaos with the website.

JERSEY FLEGG CUP PRELIMINARY FINAL

Updated team List

Panthers coach Ivan Cleary has updated his squad for Sunday’s Semi Final against the Bulldogs at Accor Stadium.

The starting side remains the same, while Mitch Kenny (hamstring) remains on the extended bench.

Chrichton has been ruled out for the Dogs

What is the prognosis for Patea? He seems to have dropped off the radar.

The Panthers Jersey Flegg side progresses to the Grand Final at Commbank Stadium against the Melbourne Storm. This is the first Grand Final for the jersey Flegg side since the 2022 Panthers clean sweep.

Should give the NRL side some spirit, the Jersey Flegg side has done it the hard way, 3 wins into the Grand Final.

Well it’s Sept, and we once again move into sudden-death territory, a place we have been for the past 5 years. The last finals game we lost was in week 1 2021, which was not sudden-death, so we well know the drill.

As we head off to the game a little later on today, the hope is there that we keep this amazing run going. I think if we play close to our best we will win. A settled lineup full of players who know their roles and have experienced it before should go a long way to getting the win.

One game at a time is an old cliche, but it applies 100%.

C’mon boys!!! :paw_prints: :paw_prints:

Just did the maths and realised the last week 2 semi final I attended was vs the sharks in 2018.

Strange feeling after all those years, I. My mind I feel like I am going to head off to a Prelim final lol

It’s fundamental that we have to play smart; no dumb penalties or 6-guessagains; respect possession; hope for a balanced refereeing count.

First time since 1991 that I haven’t been to a Panthers finals match played in Sydney. Unfortunately have been very sick the last couple of weeks. Will be cheering on the boys from my sick bed/recliner.

Dumb decision to burn the challenge so early!!!

Hope it doesn’t come back to bite us.

I have to admit I’m shocked!!!

I wasn’t expecting 30 points in the game, let alone by one team in one half.

We are a class above them at the moment.

Completely agree, Mutley. But we haven’t won yet.

We need a good 2nd half and no injuries.
