Has been confirmed for Sunday. I wonât be buying a ticket until I get the results of some tests through the week. Will also have to go straight from work if I am going.
in some ways Saturday night would have been better for me, it would have been a straight no with me having to be up at 4.30am on Sunday.
Well after some stuffing around with Ticketek this morning in the members offering timeslot, in which we âlostâ the offered seats twice getting the dreaded âwell that was unexpectedâ message, we have secured tickets in section 133 (Cat 1). This is on western side, so no looking into sun for us & similar location to last year vs sharkies.
The panthers supporters bay quickly came up as allocation exhausted, so thatâs a good sign re support for our team.
Câmon boys
Tries John-Paul Donevski (2), Jai Camilleri, Nikora Williams, Adrian Sandy, Riley Pollard, Pharrell Gray. Goals Riley Pollard (4/7)
The Panthers Jersey Flegg side progresses to the Grand Final at Commbank Stadium against the Melbourne Storm. This is the first Grand Final for the jersey Flegg side since the 2022 Panthers clean sweep.
Should give the NRL side some spirit, the Jersey Flegg side has done it the hard way, 3 wins into the Grand Final.
Well itâs Sept, and we once again move into sudden-death territory, a place we have been for the past 5 years. The last finals game we lost was in week 1 2021, which was not sudden-death, so we well know the drill.
As we head off to the game a little later on today, the hope is there that we keep this amazing run going. I think if we play close to our best we will win. A settled lineup full of players who know their roles and have experienced it before should go a long way to getting the win.
One game at a time is an old cliche, but it applies 100%.
First time since 1991 that I havenât been to a Panthers finals match played in Sydney. Unfortunately have been very sick the last couple of weeks. Will be cheering on the boys from my sick bed/recliner.
