Yep, sometimes the need to be popular (NSW border rules) comes at a cost, unfortunately the popularity contestant in Gladys will not be the one specifically affected, although she will tell you she is, like you say Puss “all in this together”………MY ARSE
I fear for my employment if we are locked down again. Updating the Resume again to pre-empt the problem, I doubt though anyone will be hiring in my field of expertise until we are back up and running again…….how long will that be !
I fear that this week’s game may be the last we get to attend ‘live’ before the game is shifted to QLD for the rest of the season as a result of the morons who just won’t take the pandemic seriously.
Really!! Lining up for free donuts is that important???
SMH are reporting that the NRL are looking at the idea of a hub in Queensland again, possibly within 2 weeks. We might want to make the most of this Sunday, we may not get another chance this season the way things are headed.
We’ll be at the game. With the limited crowd and the precautions put in place (expecting similar to at Bankwest for the tiges match), it will be ok. Nothing will ever be 100%, and we have been pretty much in iso for several months now, (1 recent family gathering at my sisters and one dinner at Peachtree) but feel it’s time to get out to the game.
so the ‘toad’ Queen has wrapped up the AFL, more’n likely the NRL, which is just as well coz no one watches the Broncos, the SOO. What’s left Olympics,
Women’s World Cup Soccer, Sydney to Hobart Yacht race, Melb Cup, see
apparently Qld are virus free. How do they do it? They don’t really know either.
It’s a bit of a misnomer right, a protest that would potentially put many lives at risk for the chance to raise awareness for the safety of the pretext. I get the guise, I don’t get the blind want regardless of potential risk.
These toads have got no idea. Whilst Penrith is listed incidentally as a hotspot. Damn right, some hot footy going down here. Central Coast is
accordingly (according to Anastasia) listed as part of greater Sydney.
If they do get the covid up north they’re in deep Shiite???
Interested at the term ‘Greater Sydney’ I had to look it up, to see what was the ‘definition’. Seems it not clearly defined, and differed to the old ‘Sydney Metropolitan Area’ that was used in the past. Remember that Penrith was not in metro area and was STD call from the city years ago. The line was between Werro & Kingswood
I thought that “Sydney” was bounded by Pacific Ocean in east, Nepean R in west & Hawksbury R in north, and not to sure about south. A definition attributed to Bureau of Statistics is “extends from Wyong and Gosford in the north to the Royal National Park in the south and follows the coastline in between. Towards the west, the region includes the Blue Mountains, Wollondilly and Hawkesbury.”
So who knows?? Anyway, wasn’t going to canetoad territory anyway!
