For a bit of fun

Dammit, was hoping having them both their might throw you off the scent, but it it Summons that I haven’t met. Well done Kevin.

You got it Kev!

Shaken his hand on laps around the ground, but that’s it.

Anthony Xuerub - delivered pizza to him and his dad. Father had the thickest Scottish accent.
Grant Izzard - neighbor when he played for us in the early 80’s
Matt Rogers - pub crawl following work Christmas party
Luke Cavell - pub crawl as above
Steve Ella - family camping trip on far south coast
Peter Sterling - post semi finals drinks
Tony Trugent - school teachers brother, came to class many times. Fringe first grader for the Dragons early 80’s
Tulsen Tollet - went to high school with him
Nathan Cleary - never really met
Ivan Cleary - bumped into him many times, both after games and at the supermarket. Always up for a chat, even when he was tigers coach.
Barry Walker - worked with the phantom in the mid to late 90’s. Very strange giving instructions to a grand final hero.

Take 2

Grant Izzard - Junior Cricket at Blacktown City
Brad Fittler - Never actually met
Greg Alexander - Lived (or girlfriend lived, he spent alot of time there lol) around the corner in the 80’s.
John Cartwright - A few times in the late 80’s down at the Kingsway
Peter Kelly - As mentioned, at a charity gig
Brad Drew - As mentioned, at Cricket and around town
Steve Wardell - As mentioned - Pio booze ups
Trent Waterhouse - At the RSL one night, he and Purtell were blind, loving everyone, it was great !
Carl McNamara - When the Saints played Cambo and he just hit the 1st Grade scene, don’t know how I got into the convo with him, I think it was a mutual convo that moulded….but it was great footy talk.
Ben Elias - As mentioned, my mate asked him about lighting up his tongue and the convo went from there lol

why would you wanna speak to Elias, were you stuck in a queue ?

Ha Haaaa - Na my mate saw him light up his tongue at 7 hills RSL 30+ years ago, so we got to talking to him about it, he couldn’t believe someone remembered that lol - He is quite a character when not being so “professional”.

I’m going to guess Brad Drew.

I actually work with Peter Kelly & Steve Waddell (just not the footballers :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:)

Not Brad Drew - Played cricket against him in the Hawksbury comp, I took a screamer at short cover to get him out…it was a no ball !

Plus said G’day to him a few times around the Riff.

Just to speed up the process, Peter Kelly, met him at a charity gig, his employment at the time was driving a truck for a Gas company. Had plenty of booze ups with Steve Waddell at the Pio so not him either.

My workmate Peter Kelly is about half the size of the player, about the size of a jockey
:joy::joy::joy:

Next guess Fittler

Bazinga mutley

Have you got another 10 ?

Gotta be Matt Cechin puss. Couldn’t imagine him surviving a meeting with a Penrith fan. :joy:

Not Cechin. I knew his father so he was stuck with me ha ha!
But I did give him some stick as a Penrith fan should. In fact
a home game under the Western Stand, I thought they were
gonna call the cops! :astonished:

I will go with Dallas Donnelly, just so I can be wrong and hear the story of Puss n Dallas :flushed:

nope. A buddies flat mate we hooked up at Rosehill races.
Looked like Danny de Vito (me) and Arnold Swarzenegger (him).
Didn’t talk much footy and I declined to join him & my work mate
kicking on. I used to get in enough trouble on my own back in
those days.

I could probably do a couple more lists, but outside Panthers it will it is starting to get a bit bare.

Would it be Ken Irvine Puss?

You got it mutley.

Once the fastest professional sprinter
over 110 yards, was my hero. Never got to speak to him.
Waited in a queue at Tantallon Oval Lane Cove and missed out.
No matter my uncle got his autograph for me and I think I
still got it.
