Memo to Luron Patea and Panthers management : When you’re doing a media interview prior to the match, do not stand there chewing gum, particularly with your mouth open. Aren’t our players schooled in interacting with the media. He would benefit by watching the Edwards and Sorensen interviews.
This game reeks of being one of those where a desperate team plays one of their best games of the season. Penrith needs to rekindle the kind of low-error football that has characterised most of the past 7 years. Limited penalties, limited guess-agains, no play-the-ball stuff-ups, no dumb passes and respect for possession would be a good start.
Not sure what game the bunker was watching, different to Ch9
Can someone please explain why the tackle on Moses was not a hip drop?
Or why the penalty was given to the storm for running directly into our players? I always expect it with the storm, but the level of milking was stupid
Or martin’s binning? Gee it’s a bad look when slowing things down frame by frame and losing context of what’s actually happening
Hopefully Coggs isn’t gone for too many weeks. Not the first time this year
There appears to be an agenda against us, it stands to reason the NRL don’t want us winning AGAIN…boring…I mean, they change the rules to entice a different audience, they want to take the game global…bit difficult if 1 team keeps winning
That is all I can put it down too, the contrast between last week and this week suggest there is absolutely no standard of refereeing that can be explained. Do we as a game have to play the personality with the whistle? Soooooo Frustrating
Don’t get me wrong, that Storm binning was not good either, no warning, just 3rd ‘infringement’ and off you go. The Rorters would have played with 9 players if last nights reffing was last week.
