This is a real tough one. On the surface there doesn’t seem to be many standouts, lots of missed tackles, dropped balls, poor completion, and errors galore.

But I think that all needs to be put into context.

The conditions were horrendous, some have argues that no team should have been playing under those conditions.

Both sides looked gassed and pushed to their physical limits, I think that has to be factored in here.

It going to be one of those games I think many will want to put behind them.

If there were ratings for each half, the ratings for the second half would be significantly different to the first half.

As I do most weeks, I give everyone the same vote except for 3, Moses MOTM for mine, close behind Papalii and I also gave Lussick a top 3 vote for his unknown additional efforts, It was his stamina that held us together…..how fit is he?

I was pretty concerned when I found out that Kenny would be sidelined for up to 12 weeks. But having Lussick at Hooker has calmed me.

Kenny and Lussick’s style are different, but both are very effective Hookers and Freddy should have no problem slotting in for an extended stint at 9.
