The Australian/Murdoch are at it again, this time saying Ivan is a hypocrite. What specifically did Penrith/Ivan ever do to put these shit journalists offside with our club? Was there a single moment?
I know Phil Rothfield always had it in for Gus. However Steve Crawley in particular can’t go to bed without thinking about how much Panthers had wronged him that day.
That’s an easy one; we’re just from the unwashed west, not fancy like the Rorters. We had the temerity to be successful; we showed how passion and decency (and a whole lot of other attributes of quality) can overcome money and privilege. How we dare we rise above our lowly station in life. The west is just meant to provide the cannon fodder that makes rich people in the east richer. The Murdoch press, in my opinion the worst to ever contaminate the Australian landscape, can’t handle this reality.
Interesting that we were labelled as arrogant for resting players for the final round last year, but the same label hasn’t been put on Broncos this year

I see the media are into us again for mocking other teams.
Just like the Raiders stolen ‘clap’ which just begs to be ridiculed and mocked, so be the Warriors “Wahs”. It is a direct take from the rugby equally pathetic “tahs”.
Taking the piss out of each other is a hallmark of sport, especially when the opposition set themselves up for it, but it’s only bad when we do it it seems.
