I don’t like our chances with Abbott and Costelo (Sutton and Klein). - we will be up against it.

That is gunna hurt, I was looking forward to what he would bring against his next club.

:mega: Updated Team List

ahh the memories and what a tackle.
looking at it again its hard to believe Sattler made it across the ground to catch a winger who had a head start and the shortest distance to cover yet as we know Sattler pulled off what i believe to be the greatest tackle ever.

Copybook, around the legs and in doing so took him into touch.

The best thing to say about the Roosters is they are rubbish as a team but they do have some key individuals who despite being in a crap team can hurt you.

Roosters were terrible last week on all levels and to think Fittler and Johns have this mob as Premiers for 2023…probably says more about them.

But can they be that bad again, i don’t think so but they do have some noise floating around the club with Ryles and Walker looking likely to depart .

My fears are around us, Lenui is a huge loss for us and how he impacts a game will be missed.

My other fear lays on our left side from Luai ,Peach and Turuva and i believe this is where Roosters will bombard us tonight.

Turuva is brave but that is it, Peach is not a NRL player and Luai is in the worst form of his last 3 years.

The only plus for us is its dry and is at home which one would think should work for us but that will depend on how we play. The fans will become hostile very quickly if we don’t turn up and put in a sub par effort.

Last week we had terrible 5th tackle options, players doing dumb things so we will need to have all this fixed for tonight because the Roosters will see this as a make or break game for themselves as well.

I fear we may miss Lenui too much which places a bigger load on Leota and JFH to not only play big minutes but to play hard big minutes.

Our defence whilst still not on song has been holding, our attack is where our issues are.

There should be no excuses tonight, a dry fast track will give both sides opportunities.

Maybe JWH and Radley have some brain explosions and get binned and they will test the refs, we will need to be disciplined because the 50/50 calls have been going against us.

This could go to Golden Point, i hope not but don’t see much between these 2 and that’s a concern because the Roosters are rubbish.

Maybe tonight the Premiers turn up.

:mega: NSW Cup Squad Update

Liam Henry has been named to start in the NSW Cup side against the Roosters. This most likely means Liam Martin has been cleared to play and will line up for the NRL Squad tonight.

Typical recovery for a ruptured testicle can range from 2 to 6 weeks, depending on severity.

I am sore just thinking of that injury.

This is a game we could easily loose, hence I’m somewhat optimistic of a major victory.

But gee we have to be on our A game. Roosters should of well and truly be ashamed of their last performance.

Liam Martin returns on the bench.

First half looked solid.

My weekly confusion continues: If Soni Luke doesn’t go on after 30 minutes when Kenny started to look gassed, when does he go on?

We are starting to look like the team that has dominated the last 3 seasons. Still some way to go, but looking like we are heading in the right direction.

well my thoughts of Roosters were confirmed and i have to thank them for playing us into form and despite us still being clunky, they are shot.

the test now is for IC to ask the team to go on with this.

and thanks Mutley…Yeo’s tackle on Tedesco was all class and brings back the Staller tackle of 20 years ago.

Hope to see better execution and the boys go on with it.

Another positive thus far:

At least two grubbers for kick restarts!
