The Murdoch papers are reporting Tyrone Peachey has called time on his NRL career.
I can’t give a link or more details, cos there’s a paywall & I don’t subscribe to the Murdoch press.
If it’s true, congratulations on a very good career & thanks for his service, esp to the Panthers. Best of luck to him.

Tyrone has mentioned it on his podcast that he plans on retiring at the end of this season. I’m happy that we managed to get him home prior to his retirement, and that he will retire with a premiership ring.

Congratulations Tyrone on a great career. I remember sitting in the Panthers supporters bay at Suncorp a few years ago and a woman in front of me was shouting ‘Peach them Peachy’ every time he handled the ball.
So with that in mind ‘Peach them Peachy’ in retirement all the best and thanks for your contribution to the NRL.

Ah, the benefits of hindsight - 20 20 Vision.
If anybody should feel a bit of a plonker it would be the people responsible for his new contract. Still, as I said, the benefits of hindsight.

Whispers about that Penrith has picked up promising Broncos Development player Harry Armstrong for 2025 from Queensland club Wynnum-Manly Seagulls.
Will be a real shot in the arm for our forwards stocks.
